Orphaned at 12, Greta is guarded and filled with bitterness from living in group homes. At 16, though, she has new hope. Her great-aunt has found her and brought her to a little mountain town, where she has an estate as large as a medieval castle.
Greta goes about trying to restart her life with the family she never knew. Then she meets Tony Ciccone.
Tony’s family has a long history – a history of protecting those who come from a very particular ancestral line. He so smug, but Greta can’t stop herself from thinking about him.
She isn’t looking for a relationship, but when Greta is attacked by creatures that make the legends seem tame, Greta and Tony are forced to work together to keep from losing everything.
